1st International Post Covid Parade

LDII held the 1st International Post Covid Parade held October 1st, 2023, in downtown City of Toronto. The parade took place from Christi Pits Park to Queens Park. 650 residents of the city participated in the first Post COVID parade. The theme of the Parade was “Walking for Humanity Healing and Compassion”.

LDII held the 1st International Post Covid conference.

LDII held the 1st International Post Covid conference July 11-13th in Metro Toronto Convention Center. The theme of the conference was “Building Synergies and Resilience for Future Global Shocks”. The conference was attended by global leaders, policy makers, academia, civil society, health practitioners and the general public from 15 countries. The conference was attended by 350 diverse individuals globally. The City of Brampton represented by Mr. Muhsin Kermali welcomed conference attendees and was one of the conference speakers. 43 papers out of 94 papers were presented on best practices and forward-looking pandemic management.

LDII held the 1st International Interfaith Multicultural Memorial Prayer Event.

LDII held the 1st International Interfaith Multicultural Memorial Prayer Event. The theme of the prayer “Remembering Lives Lost and Impacted by COVID-19” in Scarborough, Ontario October 27th, 2024. The prayer was attended by 120 multi faith, multi-cultural multi-sectorial attendees. The objective of the annual memorial was to bring Jewish, Muslims, Christians, Sighs, Hindus, Indigenous healers and religious leaders from many denominations for healing and resilience.
